What we saw here was a recent plant conceived in such a way as to treat waste according to the hierarchy of treatment imposed by the European community and domestic legislation. Everything is provided here in detail, from waste treatment to products produced from their treatment such as wastewater that will be reused after their treatment.

This plant gives the opportunity to treat once and for all all the waste that includes the Durrës-Tirana area and to solve the problem of waste management that is so acute in all our municipalities. When an ordinary person enters the plant he does not notice that he is in the treatment plant, because here the area is managed in such a way that nature has preserved its features. The creation of this lake is such a proof where the fauna and flora develop naturally without being affected by the effects of waste treatment at the plant and this shows the quality of waste treatment which does not have a negative impact on the surrounding area.
