Very soon, after the New Year, with a group from the department and master students, we will go to visit this center which is the honor of Tirana, where waste today is scientifically managed.†This is what prof. Spiro Drushku, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences (FSHN) for the investment that the concession company, IEBV, is making in the largest waste treatment area in the country, in Sharra.
On behalf of the Faculty of Science and in the presence of the teaching staff, he signed a cooperation agreement with the concession company Integrated Energy, an agreement that will pave the way for a wide-ranging cooperation in many areas between the Faculty of Science and the IEBV. This agreement aims to formalize and facilitate the relationship between the University of Sciences and the concession company Integrated Energy (IEBV), which operates in the waste treatment area in Tirana.
From this moment students will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge gained from studies, increasing the opportunity for employment. Prof. Spiro Dushku said in his speech that it would be worthwhile for the faculty to attach two doctoral students to the Waste Treatment Zone who will study waste management. “IEBV will not only provide internships and training but also employment near the Waste treatment area for the best students of this facultyâ€, said in her speech the IEBV administrator Mrs. Arjola Kodra.
