Sharra community is the community that is directly affected in the area where our company operates. Our main focus within the corporate social responsibility is to influence and invest in improving the lives of the communities where we operate.
Sharra middle school and kindergarten were in a degraded state, and had significant material shortages. IEBV decided to rehabilitate all outdoor and indoor environments and provide them with all the materials needed. Today, Sharra middle school pupils and children attend their classes on better conditions than they used to before. The works include plastering the walls and laying the tiles; door and window replacement; installation of power lines and computer room; bathroom repair; and outdoor environment improvement. New furniture were also purchased for the kindergarten.
The construction works started in 2018 and were completed in 2019, in a period of 6 months. Education of new generation is the focus of our company, within our engagement with the social responsibility of the corporation for sustainable development within # SDG4, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), also known as the Global Goals.
